Kenneth Chew

Kenneth Chew has 5 years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Data Engineer at Lucence. From 2019 to present, they have been a Data Scientist at the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, where they built object detection and tracking models, deployed models for automated traffic throughput analysis, and constructed data ingestion pipelines. In 2019, they were a Data Science Immersive Graduate at General Assembly, where they learnt skills to relate the reality world into a data science world, created research designs, and worked with APIs. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Administrator at United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), where they managed security data and SQL databases, and upgraded physical and information security. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Research Coordinator at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where they were trained in clinical and non-clinical assessment and interview tools related to the relationship between mothers and their child's neurodevelopment.

Kenneth Chew obtained a Bachelor of Social Science with Honours in Psychology from the National University of Singapore in 2016, after studying there from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they attended Rice University but did not pursue any degree. In 2019, they attended General Assembly for a Data Science Immersive program. Kenneth Chew has also obtained various certifications, including Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft Partner: NetAssist in 2020, DataRobot Essentials from DataRobot in 2020, and DeepStream for Video Analytics on Jetson Nano from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute in 2020.
