Thet Naing Aye has a long history of work experience. From 2007 to 2018, they held various positions at different companies. From 2007 to 2013, they were an Assistant Lifting Manager and Naval Architect/Lifting Engineer at Asian Lift Pte Ltd. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Assistant Operations Manager at Masstrans Pte Ltd. In 2017, they were a Graduate Diploma in System Analyst Student at the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore with a GPA of 4.89 of 5. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Lucence Diagnostics Pte Ltd and an Application Developer for Data Analytics Automation Tool Intern at Infineon Technologies.

Thet Naing Aye has a diverse educational background. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Myanmar Maritime University in Naval Architecture. THET NAING then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) from Nanyang Technological University in International Construction Management from 2011 to 2013. In 2017, they completed a Graduate Diploma in System Analysis (GDipSA) from the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore in Computer Systems Analysis. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science in 2022, a Microsoft Technology Associate : 98-361 Software Development Fundamentals - Certified 2018 in 2018, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional in 2021, and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate in 2019.
