Oleg Vakhrushev

Oleg Vakhrushev, CFA, serves as the Head of Project Finance and Strategy at Lucent Petroleum LLP since June 2024, bringing extensive experience in investment analysis and finance within the oil, gas, and mining industries. Previously, Oleg held the position of Investment Director at KAZPHOSPHATE LLP, where oversight of investment initiatives in phosphorus production was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Oleg was the Head of Investment Analysis Division at Altynalmas JSC, leading investment recommendations and policy development. Oleg's career includes significant roles at PwC Kazakhstan and KPMG, managing valuation engagements and M&A projects. Oleg's academic background includes a CFA designation and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of London and Kazakh British Technical University.
