Rajas Chitanvis has a diverse range of work experience. In 2015, they worked as a Control & Relay Panel Intern Engineer at Siemens, where they assembled relay panels, conducted quality checks, and performed testing under guidance. In 2018, Rajas joined Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis as a Graduate Research Assistant. During this time, they conceptualized and developed a drone application for garbage disposal, designed a robust communication network architecture, and implemented it using various protocols and IBM cloud. Rajas also worked as a Technical Computer Consultant, providing technical support to customers and maintaining the lab environment. In 2019, Rajas worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Verifone. Currently, they are employed as a Robotics Engineer at Lucid Drone Technologies, Inc.
Rajas Chitanvis completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in 2017. Rajas then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Purdue University, completing it in 2019.
In terms of additional certifications, Rajas obtained the following certifications from Coursera: "Interfacing with the Arduino" in July 2018, "The Raspberry Pi Platform and Python Programming for the Raspberry Pi" in July 2018, "The Arduino Platform and C Programming" in June 2018, and "Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems" in July 2017.
