Aakash Kumar

Aakash Kumar is an experienced Brake Engineer currently working at Lucid Motors since February 2024. Previously, Aakash served as Lead Engineer for Chassis - Brakes at Fisker Inc from January 2021 to January 2024, where strategic leadership of a cross-functional team ensured the successful launch of critical brake systems for the Fisker Ocean platform. Prior experience includes a role as Chassis Engineer at Canoo, managing all aspects of brake systems, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Aakash also contributed to the Formula SAE Team at the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School. Aakash holds a Master of Science in Automotive Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
