Karthik Mayilvahanan

Karthik Mayilvahanan is a Staff NPI Modeling Engineer at Lucid Motors, with a focus on battery modeling, serving since September 2022. Prior to this, Karthik was a PhD candidate at Columbia University, specializing in mathematical modeling of electrochemical systems, and earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution. Karthik also gained experience as a Battery Modeling intern at Cuberg and conducted undergraduate research at Berkeley Lab on lithium metal anodes in Li-S batteries, alongside an internship at Case Western Reserve University focused on the electrochemical engineering of thin films for Li-ion batteries.
