Michelle Herrera

Michelle Herrera is a highly experienced engineer in vehicle crash safety, currently serving as a Senior Safety Test Engineer at Lucid Motors, where responsibilities include safety crash testing and validations. Prior to this role, Michelle spent a decade at Ford México, progressing through various positions including Core Safety Engineer, Application Crash Safety Engineer, and Crash Safety Engineer, where notable achievements included enhancing methodologies for crash-worthiness and conducting extensive vehicle testing for multiple global markets. Earlier experiences include an internship at Fiat-Chrysler focused on virtual analysis of crash test data, as well as involvement in projects at ITESM and INASEL Ecuador, focusing on automation and engineering design. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
