Yan Lu

Yan Lu is an experienced professional in the fields of mapping, localization, and navigation, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Mapping Localization & Navigation at Lucid Motors since December 2023. Prior to this role, Yan held the position of Head of Mapping and Localization at Pegasus Technology Holdings, Inc., where significant achievements included the development of high-accuracy onboard localization solutions and cloud-based mapping pipelines. At AUTEL Automotive Intelligence USA, the role involved management of mapping and localization technologies, while earlier experiences included a Senior Software Engineer position at NVIDIA focusing on localization AV platforms, and serving as Principal Architect at Huawei Consumer Business Group, leading R&D for location-based services in smartphones and smartwatches. Yan Lu holds Master's degrees in GNSS, inertial navigation from the University of Calgary, and Electronics Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
