Islam Shaaban's work experience begins in 2015 with various summer training positions at Abu Qir Power Plant and Amriya for Pharmaceutical Industries. In 2012, they started as a student at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, where they also completed a summer training program at the Central Laboratory Unit.
In 2017, Islam worked as a Laboratory Chemist at Faragalla Group, conducting testing and preparation of lab reagents. Later that year, they became a Quality Control Chemist at Targo Chem for Chemical Industries, supervising lab operations and conducting analyses.
In 2020, Islam transitioned to a research and development role at Alexandria Co. for Petroleum Additives before joining the Information Technology Institute (ITI) as an ITI Trainee.
Currently, Islam is employed as a Full Stack Developer at Lucidya, where they write code in Python, React, and ROR for large organizations. Islam collaborates with cross-functional teams and contributes to improving the development process to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Islam Shaaban attended Alexandria University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry and Physics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In September 2014, they completed a certification in Oil Refining Technology from the Syndicate of Scientific Professions. In August 2015, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Liquefied Natural Gas Technology, also from the Syndicate of Scientific Professions. In February 2016, Islam Shaaban obtained two certifications: one in Laboratory Quality Management (ISO 17025:2005) and another in Quality Management (ISO 9001:2008), both from the Central Laboratory Unit of the Faculty of Science at Alexandria University. Finally, in March 2016, they completed an Occupational Safety and Health Advanced Diploma from NASPweb.
