Sarah Collins has extensive experience in philanthropic leadership, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Principal and Major Gifts at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health since August 2000. Throughout her tenure, Sarah has progressed through various leadership roles, including Vice President and Director positions, focusing on managing high-value gift prospects to support Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and Stanford University’s child and maternal health programs. Sarah's strategic vision has been instrumental in cultivating gifts for research and patient care initiatives, while also overseeing annual giving programs and leading teams. Prior to this, Sarah held a role as Assistant Project Director at Amigos de las Americas, where contributions to community health and development projects were made. Sarah holds a BA in Human Biology and Spanish from Stanford University.

The vision of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health is that all children in the communities we serve are able to reach their maximum health potential. We are the sole fundraising entity for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and the child health programs at Stanford University School of Medicine. We also operate a grantmaking program aimed at improving health care systems for children with special health care needs, and run kidsdata.org, a data resource on children's health.
