Alessio Summerfield is an experienced Post Production Manager at Lucky 8 TV since September 2019, overseeing notable projects such as 'Unlocked: A Jail Experiment' for Netflix and multiple History Channel series. With additional roles including Development Associate Producer and Post Production Coordinator, Alessio excels in managing production timelines, cross-departmental communication, and team supervision. Prior experience includes producing and editing for the podcast Metal Gear Mondays, leading teams at Sapper Consulting, and directing content production at Forever an Astronaut. Alessio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television/Film from Auburn University.

LUCKY 8 is an unscripted television production company committed to creating highly entertaining content that’s as smart as it is surprising. We’re dedicated to telling immersive, first person stories driven by real people tackling real life head-on. Our story began 8 years ago when Kim Woodard launched National Geographic Television’s New York office, bringing on George Kralovansky and Isaac Holub that first year. Together the three helped create 100+ hours of programming and a string of record-rating series for National Geographic Channel, including Brain Games, Border Wars, and Lockdown, garnering several Emmy nominations along the way. Opportunities to create programming for other networks set us on a new path. We began collaborating with Greg Henry, Co-Founder of Part2 Pictures and Executive Producer of over a hundred hours of reality programming, including the hit series Off the Hook and Hard Time. Our combined skills filled the spectrum from comedy to science, from blue-chip documentary to formatted reality. Lucky 8 was born. Our creative team has produced a diverse portfolio of programming for networks including National Geographic Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, A&E, CNN, OWN, Oxygen, Food Network and Travel Channel.
