Irfan Rahman has extensive work experience in the television industry. Irfan is currently working as the VP Current Series at Lucky 8 TV since July 2021. Previously, they held the position of Executive Producer at Lucky 8 TV from November 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they worked as an Executive Producer at Engel Entertainment from July 2020 to November 2020. Rahman also worked as an Executive Producer at Talos Films from May 2019 to June 2020 and as a Showrunner at Lucky 8 TV from September 2018 to May 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Showrunner at Jupiter Entertainment from October 2017 to June 2018 and at Magilla Entertainment from February 2016 to August 2017. Irfan also worked as a Supervising Producer at Magilla Entertainment from June 2015 to February 2016. Rahman has experience as a Producer at True Entertainment from May 2015 to June 2015, as a Producer/Shooter at Loud Television from April 2015 to May 2015, and as a Supervising Producer at Available for NY Gigs from February 2015 to May 2015.
Irfan Rahman completed their secondary education at The Latymer School from 1994 to 2001. Irfan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television Production from Bournemouth University from 2001 to 2004.

LUCKY 8 is an unscripted television production company committed to creating highly entertaining content that’s as smart as it is surprising. We’re dedicated to telling immersive, first person stories driven by real people tackling real life head-on. Our story began 8 years ago when Kim Woodard launched National Geographic Television’s New York office, bringing on George Kralovansky and Isaac Holub that first year. Together the three helped create 100+ hours of programming and a string of record-rating series for National Geographic Channel, including Brain Games, Border Wars, and Lockdown, garnering several Emmy nominations along the way. Opportunities to create programming for other networks set us on a new path. We began collaborating with Greg Henry, Co-Founder of Part2 Pictures and Executive Producer of over a hundred hours of reality programming, including the hit series Off the Hook and Hard Time. Our combined skills filled the spectrum from comedy to science, from blue-chip documentary to formatted reality. Lucky 8 was born. Our creative team has produced a diverse portfolio of programming for networks including National Geographic Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, A&E, CNN, OWN, Oxygen, Food Network and Travel Channel.
