The Business of Milk Processing was established in 1991 as a domestic business with the excess milk of a household cow. The founder Mr. Lal Keerthi Gunawardena, who is the present chairman of the company started this business with the support of his Four Sisters.

Company's core product is the Yogurt and products are available all over the island under the brand name 'Lucky' competing strongly with global Milk brands with enhancing its reputation as the one and only yogurt brand in Sri Lanka to achieve SLS Certification for the first time in Sri Lanka. 

Today, Company has a strong brand name for its delicious and healthier yogurt and other Milk products and being an expert of innovations of new products in to the market giving an unique experience for the Yogurt lovers in Sri Lanka. A Newer edition to the market 'Chogurt' is a fine example of innovation, adding unique experience to customers.
