Emily Samit is an experienced fashion designer with a strong background in woven garments. Currently serving as the Senior Designer for Wovens at Lucky Brand since November 2022, Emily has previously held various design roles at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. from October 2015 to November 2022, including Senior Designer for woven and knit dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, and soft bottoms. Emily began professional experience at J.Crew as a Fabric Associate and gained early experience through internships at notable fashion companies such as Anna Sui, DKNY JEANS, and Gryson Inc. Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Syracuse University, completed in 2010.
