Bert Alberts

Bert Alberts is currently the COO at Lucy Electric. Prior to this, they were with Eaton for 15 years, where they were the Managing Director of Operations. Bert was responsible for P&L for the ME region, and had direct reporting line into the General Manager of the ME region. Their departments included sales, tendering, engineering, project management, Supply chain, assembly operations and Services.

Bert's contribution to Eaton's ME strategy was the set-up of a new factory in the ME region, which has been successful in achieving sales growth from $4M to $17M between 2014 and 2017. Bert also introduced 2 new global developed Eaton Low and Medium Voltage system products into the ME region.

Bert Alberts has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in electrical and electronic engineering from Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Bert also has a green belt level in Lean management from the same school. Alberts has an Advanced Leadership Zone Training in industrieel management / industrial engineering and management from Eaton. Bert also has a value creation in sales / verkoop / sales en marketing from NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing.

Bert Alberts reports to John Griffiths, CEO. They work with Subhash Nair - Manufacturing Operations Director, Carl Sellick - Global Sales & Business Director, and Paul Beck - Gridkey & SMART Solutions Director.
