Scott Schlapkohl is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in project management, education, and aviation. Currently serving as Project Controls Manager, Corporate Scheduler, and Project Coordinator at Ludvik Electric Co. since June 2019, Scott also operates Scott Schlapkohl Creations, specializing in unique hand-turned wooden products. Prior to this, Scott was the Science Division Chair and a science teacher at Alton Community Unit School from August 2005 to June 2019, leading initiatives to enhance science literacy and curriculum standards. Scott's extensive military career with the United States Air Force, spanning from June 1978 to July 2005, included roles as an Evaluator Pilot and Executive Officer, achieving the rank of Major and managing significant budgets within the Air Mobility Command. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and two Master’s degrees in Administration from Central Michigan University and Education from Old Dominion University.
