John started their career at Luffman-Byers Telecom, Inc. as an ISP Broadband Engineer/Modeler in October 2015 and worked in that role until October 2018. John then served as an Outside Plant Engineer from October 2018 to July 2021. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager from July 2021 to January 2022, and later as an OSP Manager from January 2022 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of OSP Operations at Luffman-Byers Telecom, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to their time at Luffman-Byers Telecom, Inc., they worked as an Agency Director at Liberty National Life Insurance Company from January 2012 to March 2015. John also worked as an Operations Manager at Berry College Alumni Collection from May 2009 to August 2011.
John Swinney completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management from Berry College in 2009. John then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, Operations, and Entrepreneurship from Berry College - Campbell School of Business between 2009 and 2011. Prior to their college education, they attended Dalton High School from 2001 to 2005.
