Dr. Jasmin Kaiser

Dr. Jasmin Kaiser has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Jasmin is currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information and Data Officer (CIO & CDO) at Lufthansa Cargo since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Lufthansa Group from 2018 to 2023, where they held positions such as Senior Director of Corporate Internal Audit, IT, and Data Analytics, and Head of Strategic IT Sourcing & Vendor Management. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing audits on IT controls, cyber security, project management, and various functional areas. Dr. Jasmin also managed digital transformation initiatives and advanced audit data analytics.

Before joining Lufthansa Group, Dr. Kaiser worked at Lufthansa as an IT Project Manager for Revenue Management & Sales from 2017 to 2018, and as the Lead of the "Test Factory" in Quality Assurance from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Jasmin also had a role as a Consultant (external) for Lufthansa from 2010 to 2013.

Dr. Kaiser began their career as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they worked from 2010 to 2013 while pursuing their Ph.D. Dr. Jasmin also gained experience as an intern at Lufthansa Systems in 2010.

Furthermore, they had a self-employed role from 2006 to 2010. Dr. Kaiser also worked as an intern and completed their thesis at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as an HR Recruiter and Headhunter at Talentor Germany - Kaiser Stähler Rekrutierungsberatung GmbH from 2005 to 2009.

Dr. Jasmin Kaiser holds a Dipl./Master of Information Systems, Business Administration/BWL/Wirtschaftsinformatik from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Dr. Jasmin also completed a Diploma in Aviation Management from IATA Training in 2017. Additionally, they undertook a 6-month program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Brisbane, Australia in 2008. Dr. Kaiser has obtained various certifications, including Leading SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) 5 from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022, Python for Data Science and AI from IBM in 2022, Tools for Data Science from Coursera in 2022, Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2021, and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in 2020. Dr. Jasmin has also received a scholarship from Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw) gGmbH in 2008. Further certifications include Finance for Managers from IESE Business School, ISTQB FL from iSQI GmbH, and Principles of Financial Accounting from IESE Business School.
