Mario Knothe

Mario Knothe is an experienced technical product manager at Lufthansa Technical Training GmbH since September 2008, focusing on basic training. Previously, Mario held several positions at Lufthansa Technik from September 1999 to September 2008, including senior technical instructor and technical instructor, as well as working as an aircraft structure mechanic in line and base maintenance. Mario began a career in aviation at Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH as an aircraft structure mechanic from October 1997 to August 1999, specializing in the conversion of A330 and A310 aircraft. Initial roles included shunting worker at DB Cargo from February 1997 to July 1997 and industrial mechanic at Deutsche Bahn between September 1993 and February 1997. Mario holds a Bachelor Professional (CCI) degree in Aeronautical Engineering and Operations from the Institut für Lernsysteme, completed in March 2008.
