Nikolaus Braun has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as Captain of the Airbus A320 at Lufthansa since October 2002, where roles have included Senior First Officer on Airbus A330/A340 aircraft and various instructor positions. In addition to leading Nikolaus Braun Aviation Consulting since June 2012, Nikolaus has actively participated in the International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations (IFALPA) as Chairperson of the Aircraft Design and Operations Committee. Academic contributions include a position as Assistant Lecturer at the University of Würzburg from October 2018 to December 2023, alongside a role as Management Consultant with Dierstein Solutions GmbH from June 2020 to December 2022. Nikolaus holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Aviation System Technology and Management from HSB Hochschule Bremen, complemented by an ATPL from Lufthansa Flight Training.
