Kristian Loekkegaard

Kristian Løkkegaard is a skilled technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as CTO and co-founder of LuggageHero since November 2016, Kristian has been instrumental in developing a technology platform that facilitates luggage storage for travelers in urban areas, while also building and managing the tech team. As an investor and partner at YourLocal since 2015, Kristian provides technical guidance to the founders and helps shape the company's technology strategy. Previously, as VP of Engineering at MarkMonitor, a Thomson Reuters Company, Kristian oversaw the development of anti-piracy products and led Agile teams across multiple locations. Kristian's earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer at DtecNet, where technological direction and product development strategies were established, and a Software Engineer responsible for core software component development. Kristian holds education credentials from Lyngby Business Academy.
