Antonella Mansi

Antonella Mansi, industrialist in the basic chemistry sector, gained her managerial experience within the SolMar Group, of which she is now a shareholder. As Director of Nuova Solmine SpA - a leading company in Italy and the Mediterranean for the production and trading of sulfuric acid and oleum - she follows relations with Italian and foreign management customers, logistics, and the purchase of raw materials. She is also President of Nuova Solmine Iberia.

Other current roles include President of the Florence Center for Italian Fashion and, within the group, President of the Pitti Discovery Foundation, as well as Vice President of Pitti Immagine and Ente Moda Italia; she is also a Board Member for the Fondazione del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Independent Director of Sol SpA and Centrale del latte d’Italia SpA, and Member of the Unicredit Advisory Board Italy.

For Confindustria, she has been Vice President delegated with Organization since 2012, and was President of Confindustria Servizi SpA until May 2020.

Also in the past, she served as President of Banca Federico Del Vecchio and Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation, helping it through the bailout process. In the same period she chaired the Accademia Musicale Chigiana. She was also an independent director and Chairman of the Internal Control Committee of Alitalia SAI.

She has received both the prestigious Mela d’Oro prize for management from the Bellisario Foundation and the highest-ranking honor of the Republic of Italy, the Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito.
