Giovanni Lo Storto – General Manager, Luiss University and Co-founder of renowned startup accelerator, LuissEnlabs.

After serving as an administrative official in the Army, Lo Storto turned to private enterprise, working as a branch manager for Bartolini in the Italian Reinsurance Union, rising in the ranks to work in the office of the CEO at global firm, Swiss Re.

Starting in 1997, Lo Storto worked as a teaching assistant (until 2005), later as an adjunct professor, in Economics of Insurance Company Management at Luiss and the University of L’Aquila. In 2014, he edited the Italian version of Jugaad Innovation and in 2016, Frugal Innovation for Rubbettino Publish House and university press. He was appointed independent board member in 2015 for doValue SpA, becoming president of the risk committee in 2016. Lo Storto also serves as an independent board member of Pirelli & C. SpA.

In 2017, Lo Storto published Erostudente - Il desiderio di prendere il largo, his tome to Lifelarge Learning, his personal philosophy whereby one not only deepens one's knowledge, but expands one's life experiences throughout the course of their life. A process moving between opportunity and capability, knowledge and humanity – a way of informing one's life first as students and throughout professional careers.
