Vice President Of Peer Services at New Narrative

Haven Taylor has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. They started their career as a Counselor III at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare in August 2013 and worked there until August 2015. Following that, they joined the Oregon Department of Corrections as a Qualified Mental Health Professional from August 2015 to February 2016.

Haven then joined New Narrative in June 2016 as a Dual Diagnosis Mental Health Clinician, working until June 2017. They were promoted to Lead Mental Health Clinician in June 2017 and held this position until December 2018. Subsequently, they served as a Program Manager from December 2018 to February 2021. Haven was the Clinical Director from February 2021 to March 2022 and is currently working as the Vice President of Peer Services starting from March 2022 onwards.

Haven Taylor holds a Master of Counseling degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Willamette University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Additionally, Haven has obtained several certifications, including being a Licensed Professional Counselor [Supervisor In Training], a Traditional Health Worker - Peer Support Specialist in Adult Mental Health, a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC), III, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
