Stan Volk

Stan Volk is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Geophysics in International New Business Development at LUKOIL since 2019. Previously, Stan held roles at LUKOIL as Senior Geophysicist, and at Noble Energy as Geophysical Advisor, where expertise in interpreting seismic data and risk reduction was demonstrated. Additional positions include Staff Geophysicist at Nexen Inc., Senior Staff Geophysicist at Anadarko Petroleum, and Exploration Geophysicist at ExxonMobil. Stan began career progression as Senior Geophysicist at Mobil Oil Canada and held earlier positions at Ulterra Geoscience and CGGVeritas. Stan holds dual BSc degrees in Astrophysics and Geophysics from the University of Calgary.
