Ahmed Zwaid

Ahmed Zwaid is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in project management and electrical maintenance. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Construction Engineer at LUKOIL since October 2019, Ahmed has previously held positions at ExxonMobil/WQ1 as Project Engineer and Electrical Engineering and Design Engineer, where responsibilities included reviewing electrical engineering documents, managing project coordination, and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at BP, where maintenance of synchronous motors and electrical equipment was directed, and as a General Electrical Engineer at LUKOIL, overseeing electrical project execution and installation. Additionally, Ahmed has contributed as an Electrical Project Engineer at Basra Construction Unit and as an Electrical Engineer for United Oil Inc., focusing on maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in drilling rigs. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Basra University, earned from 2000 to 2005.
