Carlos Buenrostro is a seasoned petroleum engineer and petrophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Petrophysicist Advisor and Petroleum Engineer at LUKOIL since February 2022. Prior to this role, Carlos held key positions at IOPETRO and Fieldwood Energy LLC, providing consulting services and aiding geoscience teams in reservoir evaluations and analysis. With a strong background in complex carbonate and clastic reservoirs, Carlos has contributed to major projects across Mexico, the USA, and internationally, including significant experiences at QRI, Aramco, and Schlumberger. Carlos holds a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, alongside multiple advanced degrees in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
