Mikael Larsson

Mikael Larsson is an accomplished professional in the field of metallurgy and energy engineering, currently serving as the Business Area Manager and Research Manager at Swerim AB since October 2018. In addition, Mikael holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Energy Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, where contributions have been made since May 2013. Having started at Swerea MEFOS in February 2005, Mikael has progressed through various roles including Director of the Centre for Process Integration in Steelmaking and Manager of the Process Integration Group. Previously, Mikael conducted PhD research at Luleå University of Technology from January 2000 to February 2005, following the completion of an MSc in Energy Engineering at the same institution between 1995 and 1999.
