Omar Majdalawi

Omar Majdalawi is a dedicated student and emerging professional in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management, currently pursuing a Civilingenjörsexamen at Luleå University of Technology. Since March 2025, Omar has held the position of Scania Student Intro, and serves as a Student Ambassador, providing insights into university life to prospective students. Previous experience includes roles as a Tax Officer at Skatteverket, where tax assessments and compliance were central responsibilities, and as Vice President of the Industrial Engineering and Management section at Luleå University of Technology, managing sponsorship and project initiatives. Omar has also excelled in competitive environments, securing a Silver Medal in the Swedish Retail and Wholesale Council's Entrepreneurship/Business Development Competition and winning Handelsrådet's competition in the Entrepreneur/Business Developer category. Additional experience encompasses consulting for 180 Degrees Consulting and leading sports initiatives as President of the Sport Committee at the Association of Industrial Engineering & Management.
