Theo Panagiotopoulos

Theo Panagiotopoulos is an accomplished Senior AR Engineer and founding team member at Luma AI since October 2022, focusing on democratizing 3D technologies through NeRF rendering on mobile platforms. Prior experience includes a tenure at Apple as a Senior AR Software Engineer, contributing to the  Vision Pro and VFX development for the Mindfulness app. At the Georgia Institute of Technology, Theo served as Head Teaching Assistant for graduate-level Artificial Intelligence courses and conducted research on sign language recognition, developing a real-time motion capture system utilizing deep learning techniques. Additional roles include an Augmented Reality Intern at Amway and military service as a Tank Commander in the Hellenic Army's Technical Corps. Theo holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
