Marco Häuser

Marco Häuser is currently the Head of Electronics at LUMA Vision, a position held since 2020. They have also served as a certified lecturer at the Fachverband Elektronikdesign und -fertigung e. V. since 2023. Prior to these roles, Marco was the Electronic Manager and Designer at The University of Texas at Austin from 2013 to 2020 and worked as a development engineer for large telescopes at the Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik from 2011 to 2013. Marco holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Physics and Astrophysics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. They have a background in electronics training, having completed an apprenticeship in communication technology with a specialization in EMS and PCB design. Additionally, Marco is involved as a tournament director and department manager in the chess division of FC Bayern München since 2016.
