Edward Awaya

Edward Awaya has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, beginning with a co-op position as a Mechanical Engineer at General Motors Chevrolet division in 1983. Edward progressed to roles at Rockwell International Rocketdyne Division and served as Manager of the IT Department at Nakamichi America. From 1992 to 1999, Edward held positions as a Computer System Consultant and Senior Network Engineer at Awaya Consulting and Strombus Integration Consulting, respectively, where notable contributions to large-scale Y2K projects were made. Since January 1999, Edward has worked at Lumen Technologies as a Senior Security Engineer, focusing on the design, build-out, and maintenance of security appliances across numerous installations, collaborating closely with the Sales Engineering team and product engineering. Edward holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UCLA, earned in 1987.
