Lori Shields

Lori Shields is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data architecture and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Enterprise Architect for Data Enablement at Lumen Technologies, responsibilities include creating data warehouse roadmaps, supporting data governance initiatives, and enhancing real-time data ingestion strategies. Prior roles at CenturyLink encompassed senior leadership positions in solutions architecture and systems engineering, where Lori led significant projects like the implementation of a Hadoop Data Lake and the integration of data warehousing systems post-merger. Earlier experience includes a lead role in software development for data warehousing at Qwest Communications and operations support at the United States Postal Service. Lori holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
