Tommy Dees

Tommy Dees has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tommy began their career as a College Co-op at IBM from 1988 to 1992. Tommy then worked as a Research Scientist at Unimin Corporation from 1995 to 2006. Following this, they joined Nikon Instruments as a Biomedical Sales Specialist from 2007 to 2011. Tommy then worked at Leica Microsystems, where they held various roles including Account Manager from 2011 to 2015, Regional Sales Manager from 2015 to 2021, and Key Account Manager from 2021 to 2022. Tommy then transitioned to Rigaku as an East Coast Account Manager from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Tommy is employed as a Global Sales Manager - Microscopy at Lumencor, Inc. since June 2023.

Tommy Dees completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from East Carolina University, which they attended from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Science from Louisburg College, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. In 1987 and 1988, they also attended Musicians Institute, where they pursued a degree known as B.I.T., although the field of study is not specified.
