Andreas Schneider began their professional career in 2010 with a two-year stint in the Swiss Armed Forces. In 2013, they took a Logistics Assistant role at Brauerei Locher AG. In 2016, they held an Internship Engineer role at Gomina AG and an Instructor role at Fitnesspark Milandia. In 2019, they began working at Lumendo, where they held the roles of Project Manager and R&D Engineer. Additionally, they completed a Master Thesis at Lumendo, developing a new active medical device in the endodontic field to improve the outcome of root canal treatments. The project started with an idea on paper, followed by CFD simulations and several iterations of prototyping and finally testing on self-developed bacteria biofilm models, resulting in a patent and the optimism to further develop the device.
Andreas Schneider completed their high school education at Kantonsschule Trogen, earning a High School Diploma in Business in 2010. Andreas then attended ETH Zürich, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2020.
