Daniel Laz is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in underwriting and asset management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Underwriting at Lument since September 2013, Daniel has held various positions within the company, including Associate and Senior Analyst. Prior to Lument, Daniel worked at C-III Asset Management LLC as Assistant Vice President/Asset Manager, where responsibilities included negotiating a portfolio of over $200 million in distressed Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities loans. Daniel's career also includes roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Workers Compensation Claims Case Manager, Fitch Ratings as a Credit Analyst, and LaSalle Bank, N.A. as a Trust Administrator. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago.
