James Kress

James Kress has extensive work experience in the mortgage banking industry, with a focus on multifamily and affordable real estate markets. James has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at J.P. Morgan as a Rotational Credit Analyst and later as a Credit Analyst. In 2013, they joined Red Capital Group as a Vice President, where they worked until October 2020 when Red Capital Group combined with other ORIX Real Estate Capital brands to form Lument. At Lument, James currently holds the position of Director, contributing their expertise in mortgage banking and serving the multifamily and affordable real estate, seniors, and healthcare markets.

James Kress attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance, International Business and Marketing, and Spanish. In September 2018, James also obtained a Series 7 certification from FINRA.
