Ariel Kirson

Ariel Kirson has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Lumentum since September 2025. Previously, Ariel held the CISO position at Fluence, where leadership resulted in the company's first ISO 27001 certification and an expanded cybersecurity program. With a background in product security management at Google and directing security development at VMware, Ariel has significantly contributed to establishing security policies and frameworks. Other notable roles include director positions at NETGEAR and BMC Software, focusing on application security and product security, with foundational experience as a software engineer at Ex Libris. Ariel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and East Asian Studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Programming Diploma in Software Engineering from MAMRAM.
