Bruce Weng

Bruce (Yi) Weng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware development and optical systems engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Hardware Development Engineer at Nokia and a Staff PIC Test Engineer at Infinera, Bruce has held prominent roles at Lumentum as a Senior Test Engineer, and at NeoPhotonics as a Senior Optical Systems Engineer. With a robust background in statistical process control, project management, and optical system optimization, Bruce has contributed significantly to various companies including Pavilion Integration Corporation and Finisar Corporation. Bruce holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, as well as master's degrees in Photonics and Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Louisiana State University, respectively, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Laser and Optical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
