Loren Eyres

Loren Eyres has a diverse work experience in the engineering field spanning over two decades. Loren currently holds the position of Director of Engineering Program Management at Lumentum, where they have been since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Engineering Program Manager from July 2020 to June 2022, and as a Senior Engineering Development Manager from March 2019 to June 2020. Loren initially joined Lumentum in August 2015 as an Engineering Development Manager and held this position until February 2019.

Before joining Lumentum, Loren worked at JDS Uniphase, Inc. from July 2005 to July 2015. During their tenure, they served as an Engineering Development Manager from December 2011 to July 2015, and as a Staff Optical Engineer from July 2005 to December 2011.

Loren's earliest work experience can be traced back to their time at Lightwave Electronics Corporation from August 2001 to June 2005. Here, they held the position of Senior Optical Engineer.

Throughout their career, Loren has gained extensive expertise and experience in various engineering roles, including program management, development management, and optical engineering.

Loren Eyres received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Minnesota in 1990. Eyres then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Applied Physics from Stanford University in 2001.
