Salahuddin Sarwar

Salahuddin Sarwar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Salahuddin started their career as a Projects Electrical and Electronics Engineer at Caledonian Compressors Ltd in 1995, where they were responsible for developing specifications, reviewing supplier quotations, and providing technical support to customers.

In 1998, Salahuddin joined Inn-Room Systems as the Director of Electronics and Software. In this role, they led design changes to computerized minibar systems and implemented feasibility studies to improve functionality and reduce costs. Salahuddin also played a key role in the strategic direction of the company, overseeing the relocation of manufacturing processes.

In 1999, Salahuddin joined Fusion Aetek UV Systems as a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Here, they led a team in designing and developing variable power supplies and control panels. Salahuddin also managed a partnership for growth program with suppliers.

In the year 2000, Salahuddin joined HP as a Corporate Procurement Engineer, with worldwide responsibility for integrated circuits used in HP products. Salahuddin developed best-in-class practices for the business team and ensured quality standards were met. Salahuddin later took on the role of Supplier Relationship Manager/Procurement Engineer, managing the quality and reliability of Hard Disk Drives for the entire organization and overseeing a $100M business with a supplier/partner.

In 2012, Salahuddin joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Procurement Engineering Manager, responsible for managing the quality and reliability of Hard Disk Drives and Solid State Drives. Salahuddin also managed a kitting business valued at over $100M, including contracts management and pricing negotiations.

At Lumentum, Salahuddin held the position of Sr. Director Global Quality from 2018. Salahuddin was responsible for driving quality and reliability management strategies for products such as Hard Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, and other semiconductors. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Vice President Global Supply Chain, where they oversee the supply chain operations on a global scale.
