Leo Hong Wu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Leo Hong is currently a member of ESA BIC Sweden, where they are involved in the European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre and focuses on improving the interface between human and wearable tech for astronauts in space. Leo is also the founder and CEO of Lumeo Technology, a company that develops attachment interfaces for wearable electronics and e-textiles, aiming to provide a seamless wearable experience for human well-being. Prior to this, Leo was an alumni of Chalmers Ventures, where they participated in the Acceleration & Scale-Up program and grew their startup with the support of the organization. Leo Hong also gained valuable experience as an alumni of the Sony Startup Acceleration Program Europe, where they received mentorship and training to steer their startup in a more impactful direction. Leo founded their own company called 广州鹿弉希保科技有限公司 in 2015 and was involved in the business until 2019. Additionally, Leo has experience as an alumni of LEAD (Business Incubator). Before venturing into startups, they worked at SKF Group as an Operator/Developer for ten years and also worked as a Product Designer at YuiHong Electronic Technology Ltd., where they developed a live-streaming drone for underwater exploration. Leo's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of LumiNine Cosmetics, a Swedish skincare company that offered organic products.

Leo Hong Wu attended SKF Technical College from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained an Upper Secondary Degree in a Specialised Technical Programme. Leo Hong then went on to study at Göteborgs Tekniska College from 2009 to 2012, focusing on Production Development & Industrial Design. No specific degree was mentioned for this latter education.
