Britton Whitbeck began their work experience in 2004 as an Audit Associate at KPMG. Britton then worked at Southwest Securities as a SOX Control Specialist before moving on to DynCorp International as a Senior SOX Control Specialist. In 2010, Britton worked as a Legal Intern at Mosaic Family Services, Inc. and in 2011, they were a Judicial Extern for Federal Magistrate Judge Jeffrey L. Cureton. In 2012, they served as a Legal Intern at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. From 2009 to 2013, Britton worked at License Coach, LLC as a Senior Principal Consultant, focusing on Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Knowledge Management, and Training. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Attorney at Fannie Mae, specializing in Legal and Regulatory Compliance. In 2014, Britton worked as a Legal and Regulatory Compliance Consultant, before joining Lumeris in 2015 as their Vice President of Compliance and Medicare Compliance Officer.

Britton Whitbeck obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2012. Britton also attended Georgetown University Law Center as a visiting J.D. student in 2012. Prior to pursuing law, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2004. Britton Whitbeck's primary and secondary education took place at Lake Country Christian School from 1987 to 2000. Britton has additional certifications, including being a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) since 2015 and being a licensed attorney in the State of Texas since 2012 through the State Bar of Texas.
