Paige Smith, PhD has a diverse work experience in healthcare analytics and sociology. Paige started their career as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the University of Macau in 2008. Paige then worked as a Service Learning Coordinator at Saint Louis Community College-Meramec from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Duke University as a Graduate Student in the Sociology Department, where they stayed until 2016. During their time at Duke, they conducted research in sociology. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Analyst in Healthcare Analytics at Valence Health, where they applied predictive models to determine HHS HCC risk scores and identified non-emergent ER visits for cost savings. Paige Smith, PhD, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and International Studies from Saint Louis University in 2008. Paige then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Duke University in 2013. Paige completed their education at Duke University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology in 2016. In 2007, they briefly studied at the University of International Business and Economics, although no degree or field of study is specified during that time.
