Claudio Coriasso is currently the Director of New Product Development at LUMIBIRD, a specialist in laser technologies, since September 2023. Previously, Claudio held the position of Diode Laser Design Manager at Prima Electro from September 2014 to August 2023. Prior to that, Claudio served as Production Manager and R&D Master Engineer at Avago Technologies from 2005 to 2014, overseeing manufacturing lines for high-bit-rate semiconductor lasers and modeling photonic devices. At Agilent Technologies, from 2000 to 2005, Claudio worked as R&D Operating Manager, focusing on optoelectronic device development, including high-speed lasers. Claudio began their career as a researcher at CSELT - Centro Studi e Laboratori Telecomunicazioni, contributing to photonic device design and characterization from 1980 to 1999. Claudio holds a Doctorate in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Torino and a Technical Diploma in Nuclear Engineering Technology from "G.B. Pininfarina" in Moncalieri, Italy, along with various professional courses.
