Dr. Thorsten Juchem

Dr. Thorsten Juchem has extensive work experience in the field of quality management and manufacturing. Dr. Thorsten is currently the Global Head of Quality at Lumileds since January 2024. Prior to that, they worked at Maxeon Solar Technologies, where they held various senior director positions, including Senior Director of Manufacturing Quality & Global Quality Systems, Senior Director and Head of Global Reliability Operations, and Senior Director and Head of Cell Fab Mfg Quality and Reliability. Dr. Thorsten was with Maxeon Solar Technologies from August 2020 to December 2023. Before joining Maxeon Solar Technologies, Dr. Juchem worked at SunPower Corporation from October 2015 to August 2020, where they held multiple senior director roles in manufacturing quality and reliability. Dr. Thorsten also has experience at NXP Semiconductors as a Quality Director and Senior Quality Manager, and at Bosch Automotive Electronics as a Technical Key Account Manager. Dr. Juchem started their career as a Project Manager at Munich Innovative Biomaterials GmbH / Philipps University Marburg.

Dr. Thorsten Juchem earned their PhD (Dr. rer nat.) in Physics/Optics from The Philipps-University of Marburg from 1998 to 2001.
