Joan Owens

Joan Owens has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles. Joan currently works at Lumin Digital as a Product Management professional since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Manager at FIS from 2020 to 2022. Joan also worked at Finastra as a Lead Product Manager from 2017 to 2020 and at D+H U.S. Operation (now part of Finastra) as a Sr. Product Manager from 2014 to 2017.

Before joining Finastra, Joan held the position of Product Manager at Harland Financial Solutions, Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Joan also worked as a Pricing Specialist at Arrow Electronics from 2009 to 2011 and as a Product Development Manager at Great-West Retirement Services from January to September 2008.

Joan's earlier experiences include working as a Channel Vice President at Fiserv Investment Support Services from 2003 to 2006, where they achieved significant financial results by exceeding revenue goals and reducing expenses. Joan also served as a Product, Operations and Customer Service Vice President at Lincoln Trust Company from 1999 to 2002, driving market penetration and asset growth. Prior to that, Joan worked as an Assistant Vice President at Trust Company of America from 1996 to 1998, overseeing daily operations and leading a team in the retail retirement plan division.

Joan Owens has a diverse education history. Joan attended Regis University from 2004 to 2009, where they studied Business Administration. During this time, they did not obtain a degree. In 2007, Joan completed a Project Management Professional program but did not provide information on the duration. Additionally, they gained knowledge in Product Marketing and Management through the Association of International Product Marketing and Management, as well as obtaining a FINRA Series 6 License. Joan also completed the Pragmatic Management PMC-III course. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a PMC Level III certification from Pragmatic Institute and TDI in February 2015. Their most recent certifications include PMC Level 5 from Pragmatic Institute in December 2021, Mindfulness Practices and Strategic Negotiation from LinkedIn in December 2020, and a Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020.
