Susan Prather, MAS, PMP, CSM

Susan Prather has over 16 years of experience in various roles within project management and product management. Susan is currently the Director of Product Management at Lumin Digital since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Finastra from 2018 to 2020 as the Principal, Program Management Leader, where they successfully led the launch of strategic go-to-market product initiatives for Retail Banking International across EMEA and APAC regions. During their time at Finastra, they were responsible for end-to-end organizational readiness in various areas such as sales/marketing, infrastructure, networking, development operations, application development, quality assurance, security, risk management, legal, implementation, training, and customer support.

From 2012 to 2018, Susan worked at Finastra, formerly known as D+H and Harland Financial Solutions, as the Director of the Project Management Office. In this role, they combined Retail Banking and Lending project teams under a new region-based Project Management Office. Susan supervised 5 program managers and indirectly managed 60 global project managers. Susan also provided leadership and oversight of the North American client delivery portfolio for Retail Banking Line Business.

Before joining Finastra, Susan worked at Fidelity Investments from 2011 to 2012 as a Senior Program Manager, where they were responsible for implementations. Prior to that, they worked at PNM Resources from 2008 to 2011 as a Project Manager and Senior Compliance Analyst. Susan started their career at Cabot Corporation in 2004 as a Business Operations Specialist.

Throughout their career, Susan has demonstrated strong team management, communication, global and cultural navigation skills. Susan has also shown expertise in priority awareness, cross-functional task and deliverable management, and organizational readiness.

Susan Prather, MAS, PMP, CSM has a diverse education history. Susan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Applied Science in Project Management with a focus on Information & Communications Technology from the University of Denver, starting in 2013 and completing in 2015.

In 2019, Susan attended Cornell University, where they obtained an Executive Leadership Certificate in the field of study. This certificate program was completed within a year.

In addition to their formal education, Susan has achieved two significant certifications. In 2009, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, in 2011, they achieved the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
