John Guerin

John Guerin has extensive experience in the European wood composites sector. John held various roles within Weyerhaeuser, Willamette, and Medite from 1996 to 2005. In 2006, they became the Managing Director - Europe at Weyerhaeuser, where they focused on the South American business for sustainable wood products. In 2017, they transitioned to Lumin Forest Products Limited as the Managing Director - Europe, concentrating on the Lumin Uruguay business that manufactures and sells sustainable wood products.

John Guerin completed their education in a chronological manner. John first attended the University of Limerick from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Wood and Construction Studies. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Forest Industries Technologies at Bangor University from 1990 to 1991. Finally, they went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Marketing Forest Products from the University of Maine, which they completed from 1993 to 1996.
