Monica Vargas currently serves as the Director of Student Services at LUMIN Schools, focusing on creating equitable educational opportunities through the development of multi-tiered support systems. With extensive experience in social work, Monica held positions such as School Social Worker and CCS Program Service Facilitator, where responsibilities included case management, treatment plan development, and community resource facilitation. Additional roles encompassed Family Services Coordinator at Acelero Learning, Program Coordinator at Playworks, and Case Manager at JusticePoint. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and is pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
